Job Summary

Essential Position Functions:

Ensure safe and secure operations in accordance with the health safety security and all government statutory requirements.

Communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.

Provide accurate information to Management and Cargo Movement Control.

Maintain and enforce company procedures relating to the workplace (attendance uniforms equipment operation safety).

Delegate responsibilities of Ramp activities & oversee performance and productivity.

Ability to collaborate with peers internal partners and external customers to offer them an excellent customer service journey.

Provide direction to Ramp staff in order to maintain on-time performance of all flight and truck departures.

Create a positive customer experience while meeting Customer and company standards pertaining to quality of work performance.

Provide leadership motivation and direction to staff as well as train and develop new staff.

Maintain & improve operations by suggesting time/cost saving ideas and operational strategies.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma Post-Secondary education in an Aviation related of Management program would be an asset.

Minimum 3 years experience in the air cargo industry.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills.

Must be reliable and have strong work ethic.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Must possess a valid Drivers license.

Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
