Job Summary
The Gifts & Records Department processes over 24000 gifts and related transactions each year. As the primary data entry point for tax-deductible contributions to the Georgia State University Foundation the Gift Processing Specialist I plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of donor records. Responsibilities include processing a wide range of charitable donations generating official gift receipts managing the walk-in service desk and maintaining proper documentation. The specialist also updates essential donor informationsuch as names addresses employment details phone numbers email addresses and other biographical datato support effective stewardship and engagement.
