Job Summary
IT Technician/Senior IT Assistant in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 534028) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
Qualifications and Qualities
- Higher diploma or above qualification in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering or related disciplines
- At least 3 year of relevant work experience
- Good knowledge in IT and AV technologies
- Good interpersonal communication analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Be pleasant with positive mindset good team player and willing to learn new technologies and techniques
- Be able to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and be self-motivated
- Sound knowledge of multimedia production and video recording system is an advantage
- Fresh graduates may also be considered
The Role
- Assisting with various IT tasks to support daily operations
- Providing frontline support to internal users
- Monitoring and troubleshooting computer equipment
- Coordinating with vendors on purchase tendering and maintenance as per departments needs
- Being responsible for updating and maintaining inventory records on hardware & software
- Managing departmental equipment
- Performing any other duties as assigned
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical with less experience may be considered for the position of Senior IT Assistant.
