Job Summary
Hypebeast is a leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle and a premier destination for editorially-driven news and commerce. Founded in 2005 it became a publicly listed company in 2016 and today boasts a global readership across North America Asia Pacific Europe and more. The Group has expanded its publishing brands to a wider scope encompassing Hypebeast and its multiple content distribution platforms creative agency Hypemaker and e-commerce and retail platform HBX.
Responsibilities:
- Main responsibility is to grow Hypebeast Indonesia Social Media.
- Produce and publish high-frequency platform-native content daily prioritizing reach virality and shareability over traditional editorial formats.
- React in real time to trends drops cultural moments and conversations turning them into Hypebeast content within hours to capture maximum attention.
- Curate write and edit daily articles covering the latest trends in fashion streetwear music and culture tailored to Hypebeast Indonesias audience.
- Monitor analyze and respond to trends audience feedback and social media insights to stay ahead of the curve.
- Constantly experiment with new formats hooks storytelling styles and posting strategies to push algorithm limits and unlock exponential growth.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience working in Editorial position in established media company.
- Proven experience in social media management content creation and editing with a focus on social media and other key platform such as website.
- Good knowledge of streetwear culture trends and influencers in the Indonesian market.
- Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to produce high-quality engaging content on tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to adjust strategies based on performance data.
- Creative self-driven and highly social-savvy with a passion for staying ahead of the latest trends and digital innovations.
