Job Summary
The Sales Executive will drive revenue growth for Waysdrop by acquiring and managing merchants and partners supporting courier growth and increasing active usage of the Waysdrop delivery platform through effective sales execution and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify pitch and onboard merchants (restaurants pharmacies supermarkets phone vendors SMEs) onto the Waysdrop app.
- Build and manage relationships with merchants partners dispatch companies and couriers to drive consistent delivery volume.
- Execute sales activities to grow daily and monthly order volumes through calls and field visits.
- Support courier and fleet growth initiatives in collaboration with the operations team.
- Maintain strong post-onboarding relationships to ensure merchant retention and repeat usage.
- Track leads conversions active merchants and revenue performance.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Represent Waysdrop professionally during field engagements and partner interactions.
Required Skills and amp; Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Business Marketing or a related field.
- 34 years experience in sales or client acquisition (logistics or tech experience is an advantage).
- Strong communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Good understanding of SMEs and last-mile delivery operations in Nigeria.
- Ability to work onsite conduct field visits and meet sales targets.
- Self-motivated results-driven and able to collaborate across teams.
