Title: Case Management Supervisor
Starting Pay: $61235/yr
Location:Henderson CO (Adams County)
Hours: M-F day shift (full time)



OVERVIEW
Overseesthe day-to-day planning monitoring and supervision of the Case Management Department. Responsiblefor ensuringimplementation of policy and procedurecommunitycorrectionsstandardsand othercontractualrequirements related to Case Management.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Support promote and adheretothemission valuesand Code ofConductof Intervention all timesand in all interactions.

  • Carry out all duties/responsibilitiesin accordance withCompany values policies and procedures applicablelawsand contractual obligations.

  • Carryout supervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withCompanys values and policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work;evaluatingperformance;providing feedback and developmentrewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Assistin compilingtimelyandaccuratestatistical information on program operations and servicesassistsinpreparation ofcompliance audits.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with other departments and stakeholders.

  • Act as a change agent in the implementation of new practicesincludingtraining and coaching of staff and modeling desired behavior.

  • Assist the Program Manager in assuring that programs are functioning in a manner that satisfies contractual obligationsand organizational goals.

  • EnsuresPREA complianceassistsinassessments and investigationsas requested

  • Maintain training on requirements of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and PREA Investigator training.

  • Audits case filesto ensure compliance with established policy and procedure ensure issues are corrected.

  • Represent the program through court hearings as a witnesswhen subpoenaedor as directed by Program Manager.

  • Develop and implement contingency management programs and practices to reward positive client behavior and to hold clients accountable for negative behaviors and to assist them in changing negative behavior.

  • Assistin developing and implementing policies and procedures

  • Activelyparticipateonfacilityimplementation team for evidence-based practices.

  • Participate in the staffing and disciplinary process for clients.

  • Assign new clients to case managers within 24 hours of client entering the program.

  • Facilitate arrests and terminations from the program.

  • Review and approve documents to include but notbe limitedtoclientcontracts treatment referralsfundingvouchersreferral agencypaperwork.

  • Monitor and collect urinalysis tests from clients asrequired.

  • May berequiredto work nights and/or weekends.

  • Is available foron-callduties and/or caseload coverage for Case Managers asrequired.

  • Follow all safety rules and proceduresestablishedperworkareas.

  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned worksite.

  • Travel: Frequentlydrives personalcarthroughoutlocalarea/state to go to other work sites attend meetings trainings court appearances etc. including in adverse weather.

  • DriveCompanyvehicleto conduct residenttransportsas necessary.

  • Attend requiredtrainingsandapplyskills and knowledge.

  • Regular and predictable attendance.

  • Act asProgramManager in theProgramManagers absence.

  • Good steward ofCompanyhuman financial and capital resources.

  • Participateeffectively as a team member through communication cooperation informationsharingand problem solving.

  • Any other tasks orduties asassigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Criminal Justice Social or Behavior Sciences or related field from accredited four-year college or universityrequired.

  • Two to fouryearsrelated experience and/or training in supervision of an offender population.

  • At least one year teamleador supervisory experience

SKILLS
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of Colorado criminal justice system community corrections case management techniques and requirements andrelevantevidence-basedpractices.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze issuesand solve problems effectively.

  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff throughapplicationof Company values.

  • Ability to enter data generate reports and create communications fromvarietyof software programs and databases.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingto variety of constituents

  • Ability to complete assessments and develop case plans.

  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

  • Demonstrated skill in applyingMotivationalInterviewingtechniques and practices

  • Knowledge ofthe culturaland socioeconomic characteristics andappropriate techniquesand practices for the client population.

  • Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Companystaff stakeholders and withdiverse clientbase.
