There is an open position in the Georgetown Public : Cook ManagerLOCATION: Georgetown Middle High SchoolSUPERVISOR: Food Service Director and Building PrincipalANNUAL SALARY: Salary and benefits per collective bargaining DATE: as soon as possibleJOB DESCRIPTIONCooks food either prepared and/or from scratch for the purpose of meeting projected meal the preparation cooking serving of food and beverage items for the purpose of meeting projected meal quantities and mandated nutritional and health standards and ensuring appealing food preparation and amounts and adjusts recipes if required for the purpose of meeting projected meal requirements and minimizing waste of food prepared food for flavor appearance and temperature for the purpose of presenting items that will be accepted by students and high standards of food quality and appearance. Utilizes cooking methods to preserve nutrient content. Batch cooking is used to avoid long holding times for food standards of safety in receiving preparing serving cooling and storing serve and collect money for the breakfast menu plans for the purpose of meeting students mandated daily nutritional food and beverage items for the purpose of serving them to students and staff in an efficient the cleaning of utensils equipment and the storage food preparation and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary food items and or/supplies for the purpose of verifying quantity quality and specifications or orders and /or complying with mandated health food condiments and supplies for the purpose of ensuring availability of items required for meeting projected menu equipment storage food preparation and serving areas in a sanitary condition for the purpose of complying with current health needed food and all deliveries checking order with packing slips for approval and promptly putting all items in appropriate storage all required records and forward required reports to Food Service and train assigned that established health and safety procedures are related work as CANDIDATE:The ideal candidate should:Be energetic motivated individual to work with co-workersBe willing to work in a fast paced environment Be passionate and enthusiastic assisting studentsQUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in food service - school experience working in a fast-paced to lift thirty (30) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with position is eligible for the Towns health insurance contractual sick days & personal days.
