AsDirector Investment Management TechnologyDeliveryyouwill play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future oftheAsset Managementlandscape withinScotia Global Asset Management (SGAM).

This role will focus on leading SGAMCanadaAI & Quantitativeinitiativesdriving innovation acrossResearchInvestment and broaderAssetManagement functions. You will build on existing platforms likeInvestIQto enhance research and idea generation capabilities within the Common Investment Platform (CIP) while also delivering AI and quantitative tools that support other Asset Management teams in Product Sales Distribution Operations and Finance. This is a unique opportunityto shape a rapidly growing area of focus contributing tocutting-edgesolutions as AI continues to transform the Asset Management industry.

This is a high-impact high-visibility role that requires a unique blend of strategic visiondeep understanding of financial marketstechnical depth and leadership excellencein order toeffectively overseecritical will collaborate with senior stakeholders across business and technology lead cross-functional teams and drive transformation at scale-all while fostering a culture of innovation accountability performance and inclusivity.

1. Strategic Leadership

• In collaboration with the Business define and drive the long-term vision and roadmapforAI & Quant Tools in addition to modernization of the SGAM Research platform.

• Provide thought leadership to executive leaderswith respect to technology data and innovation in Asset Management.

• Lead transformation initiatives that align with SGAMs global strategy.

1. Platform Development & Optimization

• Lead the end-to-end design development and continuous improvement oftheSGAM platform as it relates toAI/Quant toolsand the overall research platform.

• Ensure seamless integrationacross systems enabling consistent automated and optimized workflows.

1. Investment Data Strategy

• Lead the expansionof a centralized Investment Data Huband SGAM Data Hubto serve as thesingle sourceof truthfor all of Asset Management data enabling operational efficiency enhanced analytics andcost reductions.

• Promote a data-driven culture byreducing data costsenabling self-service analyticsandimproving operational efficiency.

1. Transformation

• Drive large-scale transformation initiativeswith a focus on user experience adoption technology rationalizationcost savingsandcloud migration.

• Champion agile delivery practices ensuring that product backlogs are aligned with strategic priorities and continuously refined.

1. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong partnerships and an elevated brand with investment teams technology partners operationsdistributioncompliance andfinancefunctions.

• Act as a liaison between the business and delivery squads translating strategicgoals into actionable technology solutions.

• Influence and align diverse stakeholder groups across functions.

1. Product Ownership & Governance

• Oversee the development and prioritization of product backlogsand roadmaps for allasset management AI & Quantcapabilities.

• Ensure that product strategies are aligned with business goalsamidst an evolving regulatory landscape.

1. Leadership & Talent Development

• Build lead and mentor high-performing cross functional delivery squads.

• Foster a culture of innovation accountability and continuous learning.

• Promote diversity equity and inclusion within the team and across the organization.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role

• Bachelors DegreeinaBusinessdiscipline Information Technology Engineering or Computer Science.

• 8 yearsof experience in Technology Asset Management or Capital Markets. Leadership experience is preferred.

• CFA designationis considered an asset.

• Proventrack recordof delivering large-scale transformation initiatives.

• In-depth understanding offinancial products/markets capital markets and investment operations.

• In-depth knowledge and experience working with investment management applications including Charles RiverSimCorp S&P EDM Eagle Barra One and Bloomberg.

• Knowledge and experience working withCloud Service providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.

• Thorough knowledgeof Agile processes development best practices and principles.

• Exceptional communication stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills withdemonstratedability to engage and influence stakeholders atdifferent levelswithin an organization.

• Strong problem solver withdemonstratedanalytical capabilities.

• Excellent organizationalskillswith strong attention to detail.

• Curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.

• Demonstrated thought leadership abilities.
