The person in this role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer who is responsible for network revenue management and alliances. They are therefore one of the key contributors and guarantors of the implementation of Transats strategic plan supporting the companys maturity and excellence.
The teams led by the Senior Director are at the heart of the groups financial performance. They are responsible for pricing and customer segmentation to optimize revenues from air tickets and allinclusive packages generating more than $3billion annually.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the revenue management teams including:
- Pricing
- Inventory
- Ancillary Revenues
- Contribute to the groups strategic vision and translate it into operational direction for their teams. Continuously evolve the team structure and skill set to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
- Ensure that business processes within the teams are efficient and support maximizing unit revenue (RASM).
- Regularly present results challenges and key projects to Senior Leadership.
- Ensure the selection integration and effective use of AIpowered revenue management tools along with the continuous optimization of practices.
- Collaborate effectively with all revenueinfluencing departments demonstrating strong leadershipparticularly with flight and package commercialization marketing land product (allinclusive packages) ecommerce IT and finance teams.
- Revenue Management & Pricing
- Define the revenue management and pricing strategy aligned with the groups strategic and financial objectives as well as the competitive landscape.
- Monitor overall revenue performance and ensure the implementation of corrective actions when necessary.
- Take the necessary measures to respond to market conditions and ensure the achievement or improvement of revenue targets through appropriate strategies. Provide guidance on all factors affecting company revenue (pricing capacity routes aironly vs. package balance etc.).
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Finance Statistics Economics Mathematics Engineering or equivalent experience MBA preferred.
- More than 10 years of experience in the airline industry including at least 5 years in revenue management and significant leadership experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in transforming revenue management practices and integrating modern approaches including AI tools and solutions.
- Solid experience in building and developing highperforming cohesive international teams.
- Strong decision-making skills based on data analysis and market insights.
- Deep understanding of industry dynamics and competitive behavior.
- Proven ability to lead organizational transformation programs.
- Strong collaboration skills with all key functions influencing revenue.
- Continuous drive to improve business practices approaches and tools.
- Bilingual in French and English.

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues customers and other stakeholders in Quebec the rest of Canada and internationally.
