Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst to build and mature software asset management capabilities across enterprise standards CMDB taxonomy ownership governance and KRI metric development.

This role will focus on defining standards designing KRIs maintaining CMDB taxonomy and leading governance initiatives while collaborating closely with Procurement Vendor Management Architecture CMDB and Governance & Control teams.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and maintain the authoritative definition of software assets and embed it into the refreshed ITAM Standard and Software KRI documentation.

Define publish and govern CMDB taxonomy for software assets to align with enterprise requirements.

Determine in-scope software assets for Software KRIs and maintain documented lists and eligibility criteria.

Ensure exclusion of business applications from Software KRIs and update standards accordingly.

Define completeness criteria for Software Inventory Presence within CMDB and maintain required attributes.

Maintain clear ownership definitions distinguishing Business Owner and Technical Support roles.

Document and manage processes for identifying approved software assets using Procurement Vendor Management and Segment data sources.

Develop document and automate three key Software KRIs:

o Software Inventory Completeness

o Software Attribute Completeness

o Software Ownership

Complete CAP closure deliverables including controls process flows and evidence packages.

Collaborate with Architecture Governance & Control (G&C) CMDB Procurement and Segment IT teams to drive governance and reporting initiatives.

Required Qualifications

57 years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) Software Asset Management (SAM) IT Governance or CMDB roles.

Strong understanding of ITAM/SAM processes CMDB structures and data quality best practices.

Experience in standards documentation taxonomy development and KRI design.

Knowledge of Procurement and Vendor Management data including approved software catalog processes.

Strong communication documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as:

o ITIL 4

o ISO 19770

o IAITAM CSAM/CITAM

o ServiceNow SAM/CMDB

Experience in BFSI environments with exposure to controls audits and regulatory requirements.

Experience automating metrics and reporting using:

o ServiceNow Reporting

o Power BI

o SQL
