PositionOverview:
As the BusinessOffice Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of thebusiness office activities in accordance with federal state and localstandard guidelines and regulations. You will take charge of coordinating withthe Central Billing Office to manage insurance payments including privateMedicare Medicaid and other managed care. You will also manage refunds foraccounts receivable and maintain appropriate logs and reports not limited toresident refunds census records and case accounts.

Requirements:
High SchoolDiploma required.
Associatesdegree in business or accounting fields; and/or experience in business officeoperations in long-term care of healthcare related field is preferred.
Possesseffective communication skills to maintain positive relationship withresidents families staff physicians consultants providers andgovernmental agencies their representatives and the community.
Knowledgeableabout local state and federal guidelines and regulations.
Excellentverbal and communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
High integrityand well-grounded work ethic.
Agility andflexibility with changing priorities.
Maintain neatwell-groomed and professional appearance.
Responsibilities include but arenot limited to:
Manage allbusiness functions including but not limited to accounts receivable accountspayable resident trust funds and other assigned duties.
Ensure thefinancial systems are accurate efficient and in accordance with professionalaccounting practices and governmental regulations.
Manageinsurance payments of Medicare Medicaid private insurance HMOs and hospicebilling verify payor source; post payments to various systems while ensuringcritical deadlines are met.
Ensuretimely receipt of all payments.
Communicatewith responsible parties regarding missed payments submit Medicaidapplications and complete timely follow-up on pending cases.
Track Censusfor accuracy and balance statistical reports Census worksheets and accountsreceivable system reports.
