We are currently evaluating candidates for a Construction Manager position linked to a potential training opportunity in Texas.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Construction Manager with solid experience in photovoltaic projects specifically in tracker installation supervision and commissioning activities.
The selected professional will be responsible for coordinating and supervising on-site works ensuring compliance with project schedules quality standards and technical requirements defined by the client.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities related to photovoltaic tracker installation.
- Ensure proper execution of works in accordance with project drawings technical specifications and client standards.
- Oversee and support commissioning activities in coordination with engineering and technical teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to established timelines.
- Coordinate subcontractors and installation crews ensuring safety and quality compliance.
- Identify and resolve technical or execution issues during installation and commissioning phases.
- Report regularly to the Project Management team regarding progress risks and site performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and company HSE procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as Construction Manager or in a similar leadership role within utility-scale photovoltaic projects.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in solar tracker installation.
- Demonstrated experience in commissioning activities for solar projects.
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing installation procedures and site coordination.
- Availability to travel as required by project needs.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
INITIAL TRAINING
The selected candidate will be required to travel to Texas to receive specific training with the client prior to full project deployment. This training will ensure alignment with project standards and technical requirements.
