Job Summary

Physical Therapy Assistant
Pay Range: $22.77/hr - $36.43 hr
The facility provides skilled nursing and therapy services in patients homes throughout Jefferson County NY. This comfortable alternative to inpatient care allows people to recover from an accident or illness in a familiar environment surrounded by family and friends.

Shift: MONDAY-FRIDAY NO WEEKENDS OR MAJOR HOLIDAYS

Responsibilities:
1. Under the on-site supervision of Physical Therapist treats patients residents and/or registrants using exercises Physical Therapy modalities and training techniques for functional activities.
2. Documents all treatment appropriately
3. Assists Physical Therapist with assigned tasks
4. Active participant in patient treatment plans

Requirements:
1. Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited Physical Therapist Assistant education program.
2. Successful completion of all Physical Therapist Assistant student internships New York State registration.
3. New York State certification required.
4. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with the varied age groups to which service is provided.
5. CPR certification.
