Job Summary Under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services the Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients based on physician referrals. The role involves developing and implementing individualized evaluation and treatment programs using a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices. The goal is to maximize patients functional abilities across all areas of daily living. The Occupational Therapist practices in compliance with the applicable State Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities -
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans

Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve functional independence

Utilize therapeutic techniques and assistive devices to meet patient goals

Document evaluations treatment plans progress notes and outcomes

Collaborate with physicians rehabilitation staff and interdisciplinary teams

Ensure compliance with professional standards policies and regulations
Qualifications -
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy

Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state

Experience: Less than one year of experience required
