Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for medical staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients answering queries and addressing concerns.
- Manage incoming calls and emails in a professional manner.
- Assist with the billing and insurance verification process.
- Prepare and organize documents reports and presentations as needed.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.
- Handle office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in administration or healthcare is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with office management procedures.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.
