Job Summary
The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading architectural design activities from concept to execution. The role involves preparing detailed architectural drawings coordinating with clients and project stakeholders and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout project execution. The position requires strong technical expertise design creativity and effective coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead architectural concept designs layouts and design presentations
Prepare detailed architectural drawings working drawings and construction documentation
Use AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and Photoshop for design development and visualization
Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback
Work closely with structural MEP and project teams to ensure design coordination
Review drawings for accuracy compliance and constructability
Support project execution teams during site implementation and resolve design-related issues
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes regulations and standards
Participate in design reviews meetings and client presentations
Manage timelines and ensure timely delivery of architectural deliverables
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture
Valid professional experience as an Architect (610 years)
Strong portfolio demonstrating residential commercial or mixed-use projects
Skills Required
Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit SketchUp Photoshop and MS Office
Strong knowledge of architectural planning detailing and documentation
Good understanding of building materials construction methods and design standards
Excellent communication and client coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and design decision-making abilities
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
