Job Summary
School Adjustment CounselorStart Date: January 5 2026Responsibilities include:Provide school counseling services in individual group and classroom settings to general education students as well as students with IEPs and 504 plansProvide services to address the social and emotional barriers to student achievement and in accordance with intervention special education and 504 plansProvide services to help develop age-appropriate skills and promote social emotional and academic growth in children in the school settingEvaluate student skills and write reports to interpret/summarize findingsWork collaboratively with Special Education staff in the social and emotional classroomWork collaboratively with General Education staff to support the implementation of our school-wide social and emotional learning curriculumAttend meetings as assignedStrong data-collection skills to help to inform decisions for students
