DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Manager of Product Specialists at Thermo Fisher Scientific you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) across multiple product lines. You will guide business growth meet revenue targets and ensure customer satisfaction through innovative solutions and technical expertise. Working in a collaborative matrix environment you will partner with sales marketing product management and other cross-functional teams to implement commercial strategies and develop market opportunities.


Your leadership will be essential in developing and retaining talent creating a culture of excellence and ensuring your team delivers exceptional customer value. You will use data-driven insights to enhance sales processes maintain robust forecasting and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands. As a key leader youll support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer while embodying our core values of Integrity Intensity Innovation and Involvement.


REQUIREMENTS:
Masters Degree plus 12 years of progressive commercial experience in life sciences analytical instruments or related industry
Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences Chemistry Engineering or related scientific field
5 years of people management experience leading teams in a matrix environment
Deep understanding of scientific workflows applications and customer needs in relevant markets
Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and guiding business growth
Strong strategic planning and business acumen with ability to analyze market trends
Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales operations processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage at all levels
Demonstrated success in coaching mentoring and developing successful teams
Ability to build and maintain productive relationships across functions
Experience implementing commercial strategies and tactical business plans
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Travel up to 50% as required
Technical expertise in relevant product portfolios and applications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and business intelligence tools
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
Solution-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
