Responsibilities
- Oversee service department operations to ensure customer satisfaction productivity and profitability.
- Maintain reporting systems as required by dealership and manufacturer.
- Work with upper management to identify areas of improvement and implementation of solutions for optimal department and dealership performance.
- Establish and retain customer relationships by ensuring exceptional efficient service and customer follow up.
- Assist customers in resolving complaints in an immediate but professional manner.
- Monitor quality of vehicle and customer service to minimize comebacks and maximize CSI scores.
- Collaborate with sales parts BDC office and upper management for seamless operation and customer satisfaction.
- Hire lead and retain employees in service department including technicians advisors dispatch and other supporting service staff.
- Monitor service personnel performance and assist in training.
- Ensure staff has proper trainings per manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Compliance with company OSHA and right-to-know policies and practices.
- Understand and sustain manufacturer standards including but not limited to warranty guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of automotive experience.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Strong customer service communication and organizational skills.
- Ready and willing to learn.
- Prepared to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dealership environment.
