Job Title: Technical Program Manager III
Location: San Francisco CA 94105 (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $33.68 / hour
Job Summary:
Databricks is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager III to lead and coordinate complex programs within the Salesforce CPQ portfolio. This role will be responsible for end-to-end program execution cross-functional coordination and ensuring successful delivery across multiple GTM and CPQ initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical acumen excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage all aspects of programs within the Salesforce CPQ portfolio including:
- Detailed project planning
- Resource allocation
- Budget management
- Risk and issue management
- Executive and stakeholder status reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program-level details and execution.
- Maintain a deep technical end-to-end understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies and their business impact.
- Lead multiple concurrent projects of varying size scope and complexity across GTM and CPQ systems.
- Identify assess and proactively mitigate risks by clarifying scope removing blockers and driving timely decision-making.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering IT Security Marketing and Business stakeholders) to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
- Develop and deliver clear communications tailored to different audiences including:
- Executive-level presentations
- Technical documentation for engineering and security teams
- Operational updates for business stakeholders
- Apply PMO best practices to improve execution efficiency and program governance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in technical program management project management or relationship management.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a complex technical environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with project management and backlog tools such as Jira Smartsheet or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of:
- Cloud services
- Application hosting
- Operational practices
- Technical planning and dependencies
- Ability to independently drive programs with minimal oversight.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to senior leadership.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce CPQ as a Scrum Master Analyst or Program Manager.
- Background in PMO best practices.
- Experience supporting GTM (Go-To-Market) systems and processes.
- High level of curiosity and willingness to deeply understand business processes technology and products.
