We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Applications Administrator to join our team in Broadmeadows this role you will be responsible for managing maintaining and optimizing our organizations software applications to ensure smooth operations and maximum efficiency.
What youll be doing:
- Install configure and maintain various software applications across the organization
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- End to end manage of ERP systems such as TechOne Oracle
- Implement and manage application updates patches and security measures
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex application issues
- Develop and maintain documentation for application processes and procedures
- Conduct regular system checks and implement preventive maintenance measures
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new software applications
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for critical applications
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
The skills and experience youll bring to the role:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 3 years of experience in application administration or a similar role
- Proficiency in various operating systems including Windows Linux and macOS
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and their administration
- Experience with application deployment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
- Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of enterprise software applications and their management
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required for system maintenance and updates
