Director of Sales Eastern US (Frontline Manager)

Travel:Up to 60%
An innovative and fast-growing medtech startup is seeking a strategic results-drivenDirector of Salesto lead its Eastern US commercial team. This high-impact role is ideal for a proven sales leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about bringing disruptive technology to critical care and emergency medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- In this frontline management role lead and manage a high-performing team of Area Sales Managers (individual contributors) and Clinical Specialists across the Eastern US.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned with national growth targets.
- Partner with senior leadership on forecasting market expansion and talent planning.
- Mentor and coach field teams to drive accountability pipeline development and sales execution.
- Engage directly with key health system stakeholders (e.g. C-suite clinical leaders) to support team success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Clinical and Product to align go-to-market strategy.
- Support hiring onboarding and professional development of regional team members.
What Were Looking For:- 10 years in medical device sales including regional or national leadership roles.
- Strong background in emergency or critical care; ultrasound or monitoring tech a plus.
- Experience building leading and scaling commercial teams in a startup or growth-stage environment.
- Excellent communication coaching and strategic planning abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Eastern US.
