Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations & Production Management
Manage daily metal extraction operations across all hydrometallurgical stages.
Ensure recovery efficiency product purity and consistent output levels.
Oversee batch planning shift scheduling and manpower deployment.
Drive zero-downtime performance through proactive planning and supervision.
Process Control & Optimization
Monitor and optimize leaching SX precipitation crystallization and filtration processes.
Identify bottlenecks and implement improvement measures to enhance recovery yield.
Analyze plant data chemical consumption and deviations to initiate corrective actions.
Support development of energy-efficient and cost-effective process improvements.

Quality Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to hazardous waste CPCB/SPCB norms and environmental regulations.
Maintain strict EHS standards for chemical handling and hydromet plant operations.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for product testing batch approval and documentation.
Maintenance & Technical Coordination
Work closely with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ensure optimal performance of reactors settlers evaporators pumps and filtration units.
Suggest equipment upgrades and improvements for better reliability and throughput.

Team Leadership & Skill Development
Lead a team of supervisors engineers chemists and operators.
Build capability through training on process safety and SOP adherence.
Maintain high productivity discipline and technical competency across the team.
Cost Control & Efficiency
Monitor and manage chemical usage utilities and operational costs.
Implement lean practices to minimize wastage and improve plant efficiency.
Support cost-reduction initiatives across the production cycle.

Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with ETP mechanical quality procurement and compliance teams.
Coordinate with R&D for trials process enhancements and technology scale-up.
Support management in strategic production planning and operational forecasting.
