eCommerce International Assistant Translation

We are hiring an eCommerce International Assistant to join the Developments team! Based at NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire offering a salary range and great benefits!

The eCommerce Developments team are responsible for implementing testing and building on the UX designs plus the requirements of our partnered brands and the overall content of the website.

About the Role:

As the eCommerce International Assistant you will assist the eCommerce International Translations Manager for NEXT helping to coordinate with our technical translation suppliers who translate all of the website content to 47 different languages to use on local websites covering 88 countries.Being multilingual is not a requirement as you will work closely with external stakeholders who provide all of the translation.

What else is involved

• Manage day-to-day processes and requests for translation services on the NEXT and Total Platform international websites
• Work with large technical suppliers to deliver work and ensure high quality of work done
• Help manage budgeting for the team
• Manage any high priority issues related to translation services ensuring website stability
• Become a key knowledge point for translation services
• Manage translation work tickets in a ticketing application
• Reviewing weekly analytics and reports
• Work alongside linguists resolving issues and queries
• Have the ability to work independently

Youll be doing all this from either our Leicestershire Head Office. Our offices are inspiring yes. But we understand that life happens. So were big on making sure your work works for you which is why we offer flexible working - 3 days per week in the office.

About You:

We are looking for someone who has experience within an eCommerce role and someone who has an excellent analytical background coupled with fantastic communication skills & attention to detail with the ability to liaise with all different stakeholders internally and externally. You will also:

• Have previous experience in an eCommerce role.
• Be analytical and comfortable with large volumes of data.
• Be organised thorough and excited by a challenge youll work well in a busy and fast moving retail environment.
• Good at prioritising workload to meet requirements and tight deadlines.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good communication skills & able to effectively work with members of both the immediate and wider team at varying levels.
• Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude who is able to work under pressure in a faced paced environment.
• Experience of working in an online environment and/or trading merchandising or buying.
• Keen interest in languages.
• A technical or IT background and able to understand Proxy or API website solutions (preferable).
