1. Job Summary
The Vice President Projects will be responsible for leading the end-to-end construction execution and delivery of residential and commercial real estate projects. The role involves strategic project planning monitoring quality control vendor management and team leadership to ensure that all projects are completed on time within budget and as per approved quality and safety standards. The VP will work closely with consultants site teams and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination efficient resource management and adherence to organizational objectives.
2. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
A. Project Planning & Strategy
Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules aligned with key milestones.
Collaborate with consultants (Architectural RCC MEP) to finalize technical drawings and BOQs.
Ensure accurate cost estimation and resource planning in line with project timelines.
Participate in contractor prequalification evaluation and finalization processes.
Implement project tracking mechanisms (MS Project / Primavera / ERP) for milestone monitoring.
B. Site Execution technology & monitoring
Supervise daily execution activities across sites to ensure timely progress.
Ensure adherence to GFC drawings specifications and construction standards.
Identify potential delays or risks and drive proactive resolution strategies.
Review daily and weekly site reports highlighting critical issues to management.
Optimize manpower and material deployment through effective coordination.
Select right technology & communication methods for each activity.
C. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
Establish and enforce robust quality control systems and inspection procedures.
Ensure compliance with project specifications safety norms and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct quality audits snag reviews and third-party inspections periodically.
Support and coordinate acquisition of required statutory and safety approvals.
Promote continuous improvement in construction quality and sustainability practices.
D. Vendor & Contract Management
Oversee performance of contractors and subcontractors against agreed SLAs.
Verify contractor bills certifications and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Track vendor productivity safety performance and adherence to quality benchmarks.
Manage contract variations escalations and dispute resolutions.
E. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination
Lead and mentor project engineers site managers and supervisors.
Conduct regular project review meetings with site teams and consultants.
Collaborate with design procurement finance and liaison departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Develop team capabilities through on-site training and technical mentoring.
Ensure alignment between site-level execution and corporate goals.
F. Reporting & Process Governance
Submit periodic reports to management on project status cost variance and risk factors.
Maintain project dashboards MIS and documentation in an organized format.
Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
Standardize construction and reporting templates across all projects.

5. Review & Appraisal
Performance will be reviewed quarterly and annually based on the achievement of KRAs and KPIs aligned with project completion timelines cost efficiency and compliance standards. Variable pay will be linked to performance achievement as per the organizational policy grid.
