We are seeking a Senior Planning & Spend Management Analyst to support both production operations and internal IT organizations within LinkedIns Infrastructure Business Engineering (IBE) team.
This role is critical to driving financial discipline cost transparency and operational efficiency across infrastructure and technology investments. The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance Procurement Supply Chain and Engineering teams to integrate budgeting with procure-to-pay processes track performance against financial plans and identify opportunities to optimize LinkedIns cost to serve employees and members.
You will operate at both a strategic and executional levelsupporting long-term planning while prioritizing and enabling near-term operational actions.

Responsibilities
Planning Budgeting & Financial Management
- Integrate budgets with procure-to-pay processes and systems to ensure all purchases and payments align with approved financial plans.
- Ensure accurate purchase requisition (PR) creation including budget mapping project attribution and precise GL coding.
- Partner with Finance to track analyze and report actuals vs budget; investigate variances and support reconciliation efforts.
- Support capital and operating expense planning including depreciation accruals and fixed asset alignment.
Procurement & Spend Operations
- Enable procurement services across the organization providing guidance on procurement plans metrics policies and reporting.
- Manage high volumes of complex and high-value transactions while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Review order confirmations for accuracy and compliance; drive timely resolution of discrepancies.
- monitor expensed and amortized expenses to observe accrual reporting and capture accurate operational expenses
- Work closely with Supplier Contracts and Payments teams to ensure smooth end-to-end execution.
Analytics Reporting & Process Optimization
- Maintain and enhance spend analytics tools; enrich data to improve categorization insights and decision-making.
- Identify risks inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities across procurement and supply chain processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement planning and spend governance workflows.
- Enhance Budget planning programs with financial operational and supplier risk analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal IBE teams Finance Supply Chain and Engineering to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Actively participate in critical global supply chain management and procurement transformation projects.
- Support global teams across multiple time zones while ensuring consistency and quality of execution.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (B.S. B.B.M. B.E.) or MBA in Supply Chain Business Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in product-based companies within IT or infrastructure organizations working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- 5 years of experience in budget planning or financial planning in a technology or product environment.
- 2 years of experience in procure-to-pay operations related to data center infrastructure sourcing procurement or asset management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written verbal and presentation skills.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and ERP/procurement systems (Oracle Coupa Zip ServiceNow Jira or similar).
- Working knowledge of financial concepts including CapEx/OpEx depreciation amortization accruals fixed assets cost centers and chart of accounts.
- General understanding of procure-to-pay processes (PRs POs pricing invoicing payments).
- Ability to drive change through process improvement and system enhancements.
- Technical understanding of infrastructure domains such as data centers networks compute storage end-user computing and enterprise IT systems.
- Proven ability to operate in large complex global environments with remote teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize manage time effectively and work under pressure.
