Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with over 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing analyzing and overseeing electrical systems for residential commercial and industrial projects. They should have expertise in electrical load calculations power distribution design lighting design & controls single-line diagrams panel schedules & circuiting and compliance with codes such as NEC NFPA 70 CEC and Title 24. The candidate should have experience coordinating with mechanical and plumbing teams and have worked on US-based projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze electrical systems for various project types
- Perform electrical load calculations and power distribution design
- Create lighting design & controls including Title 24 compliance
- Develop single-line diagrams and panel schedules
- Ensure compliance with NEC NFPA 70 CEC and Title 24 codes
- Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams
- Review RFIs and submittals provide construction support
- Coordinate with utility companies such as LADWP PG&E SCE
- Conduct short circuit analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- 4 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Experience with Revit MEP AutoCAD and Energy Pro software
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to coordinate and delegate tasks to junior staff
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
