Job Summary
The Somerset Berkley Regional School District and Somerset Public Schools are seeking an experienced hands-on Director of Buildings & Grounds to lead all facilities maintenance custodial and grounds operations across both districts. This is a 12-month full-time leadership position responsible for ensuring safe clean efficient and well-maintained school ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of all buildings mechanical systems and and support custodial maintenance and grounds preventive maintenance programs and respond to facility athletic field maintenance and seasonal operations (snow removal storms).Plan and oversee capital projects; manage contractors and service compliance with Massachusetts building safety environmental and procurement district technology systems including email work-order systems and time-keeping platforms to manage communication scheduling and staff accurate digital records for inspections maintenance logs preventative maintenance schedules and closely with school administrators town departments and public safety and manage buildings & grounds budgets for both as a key member of district safety and emergency response teams.
