Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for driving the Sales and Marketing team to maximise market position of the Hotel and Pumphouse to deliver performance objectives. You will develop a strategic approach to ensure hotel maintains and grows acquisition of major business and partnership opportunities to achieve revenue targets. You will possess strong communication skills both verbally and written along with your strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and support the wider business objectives.
- Cultivate maintain and leverage strong relationships with key clients corporate accounts and industry partners to support long-term business development.
- Ability to understand the market conditions of the business unit and develop and implement strategies that will drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing distribution and forecasting.
- Oversee digital marketing and social media promotional campaigns to drive business growth.
- Lead mentor and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Prepare and manage sales and marketing budgets forecasts and performance reports.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 7-10 years of commercial experience in the hospitality industry with at least 5 years in a senior sales and marketing role:
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of revenue management sales marketing and distribution strategies.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations revenue management and distribution channels.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and market share.
- In-depth understanding of market segments customer behaviour and industry trends.
- Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing budgets and strategic financial planning.
