Are you ready to lead impactful audit engagements and help drive organizational excellence As a Senior Auditor youll take charge of audits that span internal controls compliance operations financial irregularities and special projects. You wont just support the processyoull own it from start to finish.
In this role youll plan manage and deliver audit engagements ensuring every detail is handled with precisionfrom kickoff to final reporting. Youll also have the opportunity to mentor and supervise interns and junior auditors sharing your expertise and helping them grow.

This is a full (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime exempt.
Monthly Salary: $6012 - $7707 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or comparable field.
Professional certification as a CPA CIA CFE or equivalent.
Knowledge and experience in compliance auditing grant and contract auditing financial management and technology controls.
Experience using a desktop computer keyboard skills (typing) and calculator. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and Access.
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills are essential including active listening skills and verbal presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to interact independently and effectively with all levels of management.
Strong analytical skills including collecting and analyzing complex data evaluating information and systems and drawing logical conclusions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Internal auditing experience in higher education
Strong experience in higher education finance and grants management is desired.
Familiarity with Access SQL servers automated business information systems and applications terminology concepts and practices is desired and will receive preference.
