Job Summary

MW Partners is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.

Responsibilities and duties:

Be an active participant in planning and designing product features with the ability to view the application from a customer perspective delivering a 5-star experience.
Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers to write and complete test plans based upon feature requirements. Compose documentation and be a strong voice for the customer.
Take ownership of important aspects of our system. Stay current with the latest QE guidelines and share your findings with the team and QE community.
Assist with production release validation and operational checks; ensure automation health feature readiness and monitoring signals are reviewed around deploy window.

Requirements:

A Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent four-year degree
5 years web site and web services testing
Experience in testing web applications and eCommerce platforms.
Experience with triaging bugs with developers
Experience with compiling bug trend and analysis reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations
