What are the responsibilities of a Customer Support Specialist

  • Engaging in productive phone conversations with people who have developmental disabilities as well as their families and other stakeholders
  • Answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Conveying information about available human services how to apply for services and the timeframe for receiving services
  • Documenting details from phone conversations in a computer system

What Liberty offers:

  • $18.00 to $21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • 30 days of paid time off each year for holidays vacation sick leave and personal days
  • Health insurance dental insurance vision insurance disability insurance and life insurance
  • Health Savings Account 401k plan and other perks

Where and when youll work:

You will work onsite at Libertys office at 8850 Emerald Street in Boise nearby the Boise Towne Square Mall. You will enjoy a collegial and professional office environment and work alongside a team of caring and compassionate health and human service professionals.

You have the option to work either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

  • Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Patience empathy and great active listening skills
  • Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in scheduling customer service call center work or a healthcare/human service role
  • Bilingual or conversational Spanish speaking skills arent required but are highly valued
  • Priority consideration given to applicants with professional or personal experience supporting people who have disabilities
