Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: Ashburn VA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Environment: Onsite / Hybrid (as per project requirements)

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support a mission-critical federal project. The ideal candidate will design develop and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions while working closely with project managers technical teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

This role requires strong hands-on Salesforce development expertise along with the ability to support enterprise-grade CRM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather and define CRM requirements
Design develop and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform
Build and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex Visualforce Lightning Components and SOQL
Develop technical timelines milestones and delivery goals
Test application stability performance and functionality
Troubleshoot debug and resolve application issues
Maintain application security data integrity and compliance standards
Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer or training support
Deploy and support solutions across multiple environments (Dev Test UAT Prod)
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
5 years of professional Salesforce development experience
Salesforce Platform Developer certification (required)
Strong experience with Apex Visualforce SOQL unit testing
Hands-on experience with Lightning Component Framework
Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and MVC architecture
Experience with data-driven applications relational databases and data modeling
Proficiency in core web technologies: HTML5 JavaScript jQuery
Experience integrating systems using REST and SOAP web services
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience testing debugging and deploying code across environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with additional Salesforce or CRM platforms
Additional Salesforce certifications
Experience with ETL tools and data migration
Exposure to Java (SE/EE) JSF SQL
Experience working in secure or regulated environments

Security Requirements

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
Active clearance is a plus but not mandatory
