Purpose of Position:
Under general supervisionthe position is responsible performing analysis and reporting of financial activities related to assigned company. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts documenting business transactions. Provides accounting services to small entities as assigned and performs specialized analyses and reports as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
2. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts documenting business transactions.
3. Provides accounting services to small entities as assigned. May provide support to Accounting Manager in financial management for multiple or larger entities. Prepares reports or schedules as needed.
4. Analyzes financial information detailing assets liabilities and capital and prepares balance sheet profit and loss statement and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position. Performs specialized analyses and prepares data summaries and/or projects at the request of company or operations management.
5. Audits contracts orders and vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Decision-Making Authority:
Position applies company approved accounting policies and processes in carrying out responsibilities. Position determines work priorities and sequences within guidelines. Exceptions or questions are referred to supervisor.

Specific skills required:
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles and strong analytical and accounting skills.
Experience with MS Word MS Excel MS Outlook MS Teams and FRX and Restaurant 365 ERP system or Accounting software.
Able to effectively and efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Excellent verbal written communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
Attention to detail and service-oriented.
Education/Previous Experience:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or equivalent. 2-4 years of professional level experience in accounting finance or a related area. Knowledge of business accounting concepts and processes. Attention to detail and Service-oriented.
Language Skills:
Ability to read write and comprehend instructions; create correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information individually and in group situations to customers co-workers and staff.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply reasonable understanding in carrying out instructions in written oral or diagram form. Ability to define problems collects data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
