Are you ready to help shape the future of digital delivery in Lancashire This exciting opportunity sits within Digital Services in our newly formed Digital Commissioning Service a key driver of our Digital Strategy . Built around user needs collaboration and data-led decision-making the service enables smarter procurement stronger supplier relationships and a more resilient digital infrastructure.

As Vendor Management Officer you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our digital suppliersensuring contracts deliver value for money and that vendors meet Lancashire County Councils high standards for service security and innovation. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Digital Services Procurement and other Services to ensure our vendor relationships are robust compliant and aligned with our future ambitions.

Key Responsibilities;

Manage supplier relationships and support contract negotiations.
Monitor vendor performance ensuring compliance with contractual and cybersecurity standards.
Conduct vendor evaluations and risk assessments.
Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up to date.
Support vendor onboarding and integration with council service standards.
Collaborate with procurement finance and operations to align vendor activity with council objectives.

What Were Looking For;

Relevant degree or equivalent experience in digital services vendor management or a related field.
Experience in vendor management contract negotiation and digital procurement.
Familiarity with licensing asset management and cybersecurity compliance.
Understanding of vendor risk and performance monitoring.
Ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records.
Knowledge of public sector procurement and digital service standards.
