Estate Services Manager

We are working closely alongside with Southern Housing to assist with the appointment of an Estates Services Manager on a 3-months contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 18.27 - 24.10 per hour

Summary:

As the Estate Services Ground Maintenance Manager you are the face of Southern Housing. You will lead a frontline team dedicated to ensuring our estates are safe clean and beautiful spaces where residents are proud to live. You will manage daily ground maintenance operations oversee health and safety compliance and act as a key point of contact for residents. Responsibilities:

• Lead recruit and motivate a team of staff to deliver high-quality ground maintenance.
• Provide cover for Cleaning Managers as required to ensure seamless estate service delivery.
• Oversee grounds maintenance within a specific geographical area ensuring services meet high standards.
• Manage the maintenance and servicing of machinery and ensure all work vehicles comply with fleet policy.
• Enforce health and safety protocols including COSHH regulations and lone working arrangements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for residents addressing enquiries and complaints promptly.
• Ensure all services provide Value for Money and align with service charge expectations.

Essentials:

• Proven experience working in a Ground Maintenance environment.
• Deep understanding of Health & Safety practices including Risk Assessments and COSHH.
• A commitment to Equality Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and the Southern Housing Code of Conduct.
• A clean manual driving license is essential.
