Redwire Space Components LLC has a current opportunity for a Hardware Engineer Intern. Were looking for a college student who is working on a degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (Bachelors or Masters) to help contribute to the advancement of our sensor technologies.

Responsibilities

Assignments will include assisting with design and test of development or flight electronic systems associated ground support or special test equipment for spacecraft projects
Assist in designing verifying or qualifying circuits for high reliability and mission critical applications.
Design and build test fixtures or other support equipment including interface mechanical and automation.
Proving out a design using simulation and mathematics
Writing Python scripts for driving test automation or analysis.
Working with multi-disciplined teams including Software Mechanical Test Procurement and Manufacturing teams.

Ideal Experience

A rising junior or higher currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university and pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical engineering or another related field
Knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals in field of analog or digital disciplines
Experience with applying either microcontrollers FPGAs or embedded processors to solve engineering problems.
Familiar with design tools such as Altium SolidWorks MathWorks GIT Spice or similar ECAD solutions.

We are looking for candidates who strive for excellence in all aspects of their College or University experience as demonstrated by the results of their coursework projects lab work workshops internships and other collegiate activities. We are also looking for candidates who are creative resourceful open-minded and driven to succeed
For all candidates we are looking for interns who havestrong problem-solving skills

Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $29.00/hour
