Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Supply Technician to support surgical and clinical operations. This role is responsible for the decontamination disinfection assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays used in the Operating Room and other clinical areas. The technician ensures strict adherence to aseptic techniques quality standards and timely fulfillment of clinical requests.
Key Responsibilities
Perform decontamination cleaning disinfection assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments and trays.
Apply aseptic techniques and conduct quality checks with precision and consistency.
Operate and monitor equipment used for cleaning disinfecting and sterilizing instruments.
Assemble both complex and basic surgical instrument sets.
Operate sterilization systems including steam sterilizers Steris and Sterrad units.
Monitor document and maintain accurate records of sterilization and decontamination processes.
Respond promptly to urgent and emergent requests from clinical staff.
Maintain compliance with infection control safety and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Central Service/Sterile Processing Technician in a healthcare facility OR
Successful completion of a nationally accredited Central Service Technician program or examination.
At least one (1) year of hands-on experience in sterile processing.
Certification Requirements
Certified Central Service Technician (required).
Nationally accredited Central Service Technician certification highly preferred.
Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance requirements.
