The Role
As a Project Manager at ECL you will lead the end to end delivery of projects across our Projects and Fuels NZ business. You will be accountable for project outcomes balancing safety quality cost and time while ensuring our customers receive a consistently high standard of delivery.
This role is hands on and visible. You will work closely with internal delivery teams customers subcontractors suppliers and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time on budget and aligned to ECLs commercial and operational goals. You will also play an important role in strengthening customer relationships and supporting future project and sales pipeline growth.
- Lead and manage project delivery teams across multiple concurrent projects
- Plan control and report on project budgets schedules risks and performance
- Deliver projects that meet contractual requirements customer expectations and business KPIs
- Prepare review and submit quotes pricing estimates and detailed customer reports
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers subcontractors suppliers and vendors
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery systems and ways of working
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of the Projects and Fuels NZ pipeline through trusted delivery
About you:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Project Manager role ideally in a related industry
- Knowledge of the fuels or energy sector preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated experience managing projects end to end including scope cost and schedule
- Experience managing annual project budgets up to $2M
- Strong capability in producing high quality written material including quotes estimates reports and briefing papers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Clear confident written communication tailored to different audiences
- A proactive self-starting mindset with sound judgement and accountability
