Job Summary
Position Title: RN Unit Manager
Location: Orono ME
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day
Shift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $50 $55 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations and support high-quality cost-effective patient care. This role focuses on utilization review care coordination and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate levels of care and compliance with clinical standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform utilization reviews to ensure appropriate level of care
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Review clinical documentation for medical necessity and regulatory compliance
Communicate with payers regarding authorizations and continued stays
Support quality improvement initiatives and efficient patient care planning
Requirements
Active RN license (ME or compact)
Prior experience in unit management utilization review or care coordination preferred
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
