Job Summary

Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. This position will assist in developing program curriculum course and training materials and marketing communication materials pertaining to a mindfulness-based K-12 social-emotional learning program called Be CALM . Key responsibilities include curriculum collateral and communications materials. Secondary responsibilities include participation in training and technical assistance educators in middle and high school. Intervention Design and Development * Develop and adapt curriculum content and materials under the supervision and guidance of the program director integrating knowledge of adolescent development mindfulness social-emotional learning adult learning methods and the school delivery context. Marketing and Communications Design and Development * Develop flyers recruitment materials dissemination materials website and other promotional materials including drafting text and graphic design and layout. * Ensure consistent graphic design (logos colors fonts etc) style across communications and educational materials. Program Implementation * Support Be CALM Training Team with occasional training and technical assistance for secondary educators.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Experience with curriculum development in K12 particularly related to Social Emotional Learning and/or mindfulness. - Experience consulting with K12 educators around implementation of social-emotional programs to promote student mental health. - Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering professional development programs with educators.

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Social Emotional Learning Curriculum-writing experience (K12). - Experience delivering social-emotional programs in schools. - Experience implementing innovations within education and mental health systems. - Experience working in a research setting.
