Job Summary
Company/Location Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Coordinator to oversee and manage all cleaning and sanitation activities within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas meet safety hygiene and regulatory standards maintaining a clean and safe environment for employees and products.
Job Description/Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and monitor sanitation procedures in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Schedule and supervise cleaning crews and external sanitation contractors.
- Ensure all sanitation activities are completed according to schedule and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of production areas equipment and facilities to identify sanitation needs and ensure cleanliness.
- Maintain detailed sanitation records cleaning schedules and compliance documentation.
- Train staff on proper cleaning protocols safety procedures and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to address sanitation-related issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies chemicals and sanitation equipment.
- Investigate sanitation breaches or contamination issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA FDA EPA and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sanitation cleaning management or related role within manufacturing or food/beverage industries.
- Knowledge of sanitation chemicals cleaning techniques and regulatory standards.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to inspect and identify sanitation deficiencies effectively.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
