BVN is inviting expressions of interest from exceptional Health Planning Leads who are experienced in health environment planning / design from concept design through to construction documentation to join our Sydney and Brisbane studios. This is an exciting dynamic full-time position that requires adept and experienced individuals to significantly contribute to key projects at BVN.

Hospitals are multi-use places they are places of work places of healing places of teaching and places for family and community. Our experience in multi-sector design comes to the forefront as we approach the way health facilities are designed and considered. For example our experience in designing educational facilities and workplaces has influenced and is paramount in the delivery of innovative and highly successful health care design.
The role:
- Take whole or part responsibility for health planning in a leadership role including early project phases through to construction documentation.
- Run user group meetings and collaborate with internal teams external stakeholders and consultants.
- Liaise with clients and represent BVN in meetings and presentations.
- Encourage mentor and develop team skills to support professional growth.
- Collaborative innovative and proactive approach to design challenges.
- Passionate about architecture in all its forms combining health planning expertise with a wider design curiosity.
Additional Experience:
- A positive innovative capable and dynamic approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication skills particularly written and verbal.
- Proven experience delivering complex medium-to-large scale health projects with knowledge of the Australian Health Facility Guidelines (AusHFGs).
- Strong understanding of total project processes including fees team management schedules and budgets.
- A concise understanding and mindfulness of core design intent philosophies throughout all project phases.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Design Principals.
- Strong leadership management and mentoring skills a desire to mentor team members offer guidance and leadership.
- Proficient in Revit and dRofus.
- Importance of a Growth Mindset:
- Be positive curious and open minded.
- Have excellent communication skills and a collaborative nature.
- Enjoy working in collaborative working environment as part of a team.
- Be open to receiving feedback.
- Embrace new ideas.

- Master of Architecture or equivalent.
