JoinJohnson Controls and dive into the world of building management system technology!Weretalking all the complex software and hardware that controls the electrical and mechanical systems within a building. Think Thermostats but on a far more complex scale. These systems control lighting security fire safety HVAC and can help reduce carbon emissions and increase operational efficiency.Youllbe working on big projects including hospitals and government buildings.
WhatYoullBe Up To:
Youlldeliver BMS projects for industrial commercial and residential markets
Consulting with clients to enhance their buildings reduce running costs and emissions and improve overall performance
Youllgain a solid understanding of themain areasour systems interact with including HVAC controls Mechanical Electrical and Building Services Systems
Your mentor will guide you in fundamental BMS engineering principles teaching you innovative methods to lower energy costs reduce emissions and improve building efficiency
Youll create detailed project plans and for various systems ensuring compliance with industry and legislative standards
Visit a wide variety of customers sites and businesses no two days are the same!You must be a confident driver

Mix of college learning and hands-on mentoring
WhatYoullNeed:
GCSEs in English & Maths-Grade 5 (C) or above I.T. would also be great.
Full UK Manual driving licence. We dont accept automatic licences
Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
Good Physical health the job can be labour intensive at times
Happy to travel work away and stay over in hotels when needed
Good vibes: team spirit hardworking communication skills and a love for technology and Engineering
