About your role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Engineer with a strong understanding of network architecture and cloud infrastructure. This role will focus on designing implementing and optimizing secure scalable and highly available solutions in AWS while ensuring robust networking and connectivity across hybrid environments

What youll do:

• Design and implement AWS-based solutions leveraging services such as VPC EC2 S3 Lambda RDS and CloudFormation.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.

• Architect and manage AWS networking components (VPC subnets route tables NAT gateways Transit Gateway Direct Connect VPN).

• Implement network security best practices including security groups NACLs and AWS Firewall Manager.

• Ensure network connectivity across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.

• Automate deployments and operational tasks using CI/CD pipelines.

• Configure monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch AWS Config and third-party tools.

• Work closely with DevOps Security and Application teams to ensure seamless integration.

Experience youll need to have:

• 5 years in AWS engineering roles with at least 3 years focused on networking in an enterprise environment.

• 3 years of experience with Linux and Windows server environments.

• 3 years of experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.

• 3 years of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

• 6 years of an equivalent combination of educational background related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty preferred.

• Certifications AWS Azure or GCP

• Familiarity with IAM encryption and compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC2 HIPAA).

• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
