Job Summary
Purpose

BASE SALARY RANGE:
$130000.00 - $180000.00
This position will be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonable expects to pay for the position. The actual base salary is subject to variation due to the role level geographic location relevant education training or experience among other factors.

Focus & Scope
Essential duties and responsibilities i.e. those which are basic necessary and an integral part of the job are indicated below:
OperationsManagement
- Direct all terminal operations including receiving storage blending and dispatch of liquid asphalt products
- Oversee terminal blending operations for PG and AC grades and polymer and rubbermodifiedasphalt
- Coordinate scheduling of inbound shipments (rail and truck) and outbound deliveries tooptimizethroughput and minimize demurrage
- Maintainaccurateinventory records and manage tank farm operations to ensure product quality and availability
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA EPA air quality and stormwater regulations
- Develop implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work practices
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment facilities and operations
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Maintain all required permits and documentation
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of terminal equipment including pumps heaters boilers heat transfer systems and blending equipment (Siefer mills or equivalent)
- Manage boilers and all fired equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with local air quality requirements
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and inspections
- Monitor boiler water chemistry andmaintaintreatment programs
- Supervise QA/QC testing processes for asphalt andmodifiedproducts
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards
- Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly
- Hire train and develop terminal operations staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
- Train personnel on proper handling of hazardous materials and emergency response procedures
- Foster a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement
- Manage terminal operating budgets
- Track and report key performance metrics
- Maintain records in inventory management systems (SAP Tank Master or similar)
- Coordinate with saleslogistics and supply chain teams
- Proactive approach to evaluating and adopting emerging technologies including AI tools to enhance operational efficiency improve safety protocols andoptimizeterminal throughput

Role Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management or Business oran equivalentcombination of trainingeducationand experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience inasphaltterminal operations with5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Familiarity with California environmental and air quality regulations
- Experience with both rail and truck receiving operations
- Knowledge of API tank inspection standards
Specific Job Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug alcohol and background investigation.
- Valid DriversLicense;ability to obtain TWIC card ifrequired
- Demonstratedexpertisein asphalt blending operations including polymer-modified asphalt
- Strong knowledge of terminal equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Proventrack recordof safety leadership and regulatory compliance
- Experience with inventory management systems andlogisticscoordination
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications P&IDs and equipment manuals
- Mustdemonstrateabilityto effectively lead manage coach mentor and develop staff.
- Mustdemonstratethe ability to originate and drive operation initiativeschangesand enhancements.
- Mustdemonstratethe abilityworkwell under pressureremainingcomposed and organizational skills and time management practices.
- Proven ability to build solid relationships and build trust with key stakeholders considering needs challenges and objectives
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams with both internal and external consultants and partners and stakeholders

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Equipment Used Physical Demands and Work Environment
Equipment Used:
- General office equipment telephoneautomobilepersonal protective equipment ( glasses hearing protection)when visiting plants.
- Physical: Sittingforlong periodsof time working on the computer or attending meetings. Jobsiterequire walking on uneven groundsteep slopes and exposure to extreme temperature and/or to climb ladders and stairs and work at elevated ofmaterials and equipment up to50 lbs.
- Work Environment: Typicaloffice environment with adequate temperatures and lighting low levels of noise. Exposed to the conditions of job sites which can include loud noise dust fumes and extreme weather conditions prevalent at the to respondafter-hours to operational needs.
