Job Description:

Seeking an Ex or Retired USDA (FSIS) Inspector to manage daily operations of a USDA-inspected slaughterhouse. This role ensures USDA compliance food safety humane handling and smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead USDA FSIS HACCP and SSOP compliance
Act as primary liaison with USDA inspectors
Oversee slaughter processing sanitation and humane handling
Prevent NRs through proactive compliance
Train staff on food safety and USDA requirements
Ensure accurate records and inspection readiness

Requirements:

Former or Retired USDA FSIS Inspector
Strong knowledge of USDA regulations & HACCP
Slaughterhouse or meat processing experience
Leadership and communication skill.

Preferred:

HACCP certified
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
