Facilities Operations & Fleet Support Technician Tampa FL
Job Summary:
Seeking a field-based Facilities Operations Technician to support regional facilities through driving warehouse management fleet compliance office moves safety inspections and disaster preparedness. This role requires independent work strong communication and frequent travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive state vehicles to multiple regional sites and maintain vehicle logs
-
Support internal and external office moves including furniture and IT equipment
-
Manage warehouse operations surplus disposal and inventory organization
-
Conduct facility site inspections and address safety issues immediately
-
Manage keys and keycard access systems across locations
-
Assist with fleet compliance OSHA safety standards and loss control procedures
-
Support disaster preparedness and recovery efforts during emergencies
-
Coordinate with staff using phone and email; follow supervisor directives
Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid Florida Drivers License with clean MVR
-
Ability to pass Level 2 background screening
-
Experience with facilities support warehouse operations or fleet maintenance
-
Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand dollies
-
Basic experience with IT equipment handling
-
Knowledge of Central Florida regions and GPS navigation
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
