About the team
Global Deal Managements (GDMs) primary goal is to ensure operational excellence across deal cycles increase revenue through the development of transformative commercial constructs and drive closure of Stripes Account Executive managed portfolio. GDMs reach is widespread across Stripe not exclusive to one sales segment or geographical region; GDM drives change across go-to-market positively impacting Stripe users and cross-functional teams.
Were going to achieve excellence by supporting deals consistently based on deal size thresholds being solution-oriented and viewing operations as an integral enabler of all of Stripes growth. Stripe has unique operational problems resulting from both our type of scale and the type of businesses we partner with as a result of growing the GDP of the Internet.

What youll do
Stripe is launching Stripe Delivery Centers - a brand new global team to design implement and grow Stripes operations for the next decade. We are looking for dynamic and curious people that have a passion for solving global user issues building operations driving process improvements and want to play a front-line role in building this new operational capability for Stripe and accelerating Stripes growth. If you like challenging scaled problems and are an amazing teammate we want to hear from you!
In this role you will be responsible for operationalizing the internal controls required for our revenue contracting processes. This is an important role including supporting deal approval frameworks and governance enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Complete deal approval workflows including support and management of approval matrices use of standard operating procedures and administration of approval tooling
- Maintain quality control of custom negotiated agreements prior to release within internal service-level agreements or time-based deadlines
- Triage Deal Review requests and manage approval processes
- Support revenue contracting controls to ensure new products and commercial constructs are contracted correctly
- Quickly build credibility and trust with internal customers
- Provide strong operations and communication skills
- Analyze our processes and instigate changes to help scale our operations and improve user experience
- Work closely with other Stripe teams to improve our business
- Gain unique insights into how thousands of businesses on Stripe scale and operate
- Have an opportunity to learn how Stripe operates from ground up and make a real impact on the future on organization
- Be a part of building a brand new team and operational culture for Stripe
- Partner with global operations specialists or business process owners to run a critical workflow

Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in deal management and revenue contracts
- You have experience with sales processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Prior experience in Salesforce
- Prior experience in compliance processes
- Prior experience with Microsoft Excel
