Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Rights Specialist to join our this role you will be responsible for reviewing civil rights complaints conducting interviews and analyzing cases to ensure compliance with civil rights laws. Your expertise will help in negotiating settlements and facilitating mediation for civil rights disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth analysis of civil rights complaints and determine probable cause.
Draft consent agreements and summaries of investigations.
Facilitate mediation and negotiation of settlements in civil rights disputes.
Maintain accurate case files and monitor compliance with agreements.
Educate and train others on Civil Rights Laws and the commissions work.

Desired Skills:

Experience in civil rights labor relations or public administration.
Strong analytical and writing skills to assess complex information.
Thorough knowledge of Indiana Civil Rights Law and related regulations.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage a heavy caseload.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality in case evaluations.
